There are a variety of sleeping bags on the market. The type that you choose should be dependent on the climate where it will be used and your own personal preferences. Purchasing a sleeping bag is similar to buying a new mattress - you should consider the size, shape, type of fabric, and amount of free space provided. As for the influence of the weather, if it is dry and warm you may only need a fleece bag or "bed-roll", whereas colder climates dictate the need for a warm, insulated bag.
There are generally two different shapes to choose from, and each comes with different styles and features. The most popular bag, and also the one that has been used for several years, is rectangular. Due to its shape and the way is made, it can also be used as a comforter. As a sleeping bag it provides a roomy and comfortable space to rest in. And you can sometimes put two of these types of bags together and make a larger bag that can be comfortable and used by more than one person.
Another type of sleeping bag that is gaining in popularity with its more modern style, is the mummy style one. These bags are especially good when it comes to keeping warm, because they fit snugly around you as you sleep. And because of the way it is made, it actually uses less material than its counterparts. The mummy sleeping bag is ideal for use in cold weather, and is lightweight making it easy to carry around while backpacking or going on camping trips.
There are typically three different sizes for sleeping bags: extra long, standard, and junior (child). The junior sizes are best reserved for extremely young kids. These do not last long because of their size, so as long as the weight of the bag is not a factor for your child, consider purchasing the standard size. Anyone over six feet in height should buy the extra long size. However, people of average height might like the extra room afforded by the larger size. It is really a matter of personal preference.
Today's sleeping bags are made using synthetic fibers, rather than goose down that was used in the beginning. The synthetic fibers make sleeping bags easier to maintain and less expensive. And they still offer the same, if not more, warmth that down bags offer. But there are still some higher quality sleeping bags that use down. Down sleeping bags are best for dry cold weather and when something more lightweight is desired. But the upkeep on them is more difficult and they are more expensive as well. Therefore, a sleeping bag made from synthetic fibers is often the best choice for most campers.

The tents they manufacture are simple to assemble and include a wide variety of styles in order to fit individual needs. You will be happy with your experience with an Ozark Trail tent whether you are new to camping or very familiar with it.
More and more people are finding out that camping is an affordable way to get away from it all! It is quite relaxing to be able to enjoy the time you spend with family members, friends and loved ones. In fact, camping can be a cure to help relieve stress and chaos from everyday life. Most people that have used these tents have agreed that they are priced reasonably and are constructed of strong materials.
You won't have to worry about lugging around a hefty tent as these tents are lightweight in addition to being easy to set up and take down. The setup process is so easy that one person can complete it in a matter of minutes! No matter what your outdoor plans are, these tents are a perfect piece of equipment for the job.
Ozark Trail is aware that not every family is a small family, so, they have also manufactured larger-sized tents that have ample space for people and their camping gear. When it comes to larger groups of people, being cramped inside of a tent is a very real possibility! Oh and if you have small children, some styles of these tents come with room dividers that can be set up for privacy.
The process to set up an Ozark Trail tent is rather simple: simply lay the tent out flat and insert the poles into the correct places. For people who may be challenged in this process, there are tents that simply pop-up and these are called EZ-up tents. The company has definitely considered all angles! One important thing to consider is that you will need to purchase some type of tarp or a footprint to place underneath the tent which will keep moisture from seeping into the bottom.

Carrying weapons aboard a plane is a big no-no, isn't it? If you're the proud owner of a bowie knife, you might think that there's no possible way that you'd ever be allowed to carry that knife on a plane. However, while you're right, you're wrong at the same time. You can take your bowie knife with you when you fly, but you have to follow some pretty specific guidelines. What's the system you have to follow? What do you need to do?
How do you go about carrying your bowie knife on the plane? First, don't put it in your carryon bag, or wear it on your belt. These are sure ways to be stopped and investigated by the airport security personnel. In order to transport your knife aboard an airplane, you will need to put it in your checked baggage and leave it with the ticket desk. You should also ask whether or not sharp objects need to be declared. Firearms, ammunition and even paintball guns are required to be declared, so your knife might also.
Next, you will need to pack your knife appropriately. You would think that just placing it in your suitcase would be enough, but the TSA demands more stringent measures. You'll need to make sure that your bowie knife is sheathed, first and foremost. You will also need to make sure that the knife is secured within the sheath in some way. Some sheaths have a buttoned strap for this purpose. However, even a simple piece of twine can serve your purpose here.
What if you are not taking any checked luggage? If you're only going for a short trip, or just like to travel light, it's pretty common to only take carryon baggage with you. If this scenario sounds familiar, you should consider shipping your knife ahead, through UPS or FedEx. However, you should check the freight carrier's weapons policy before attempting to ship that bowie knife ahead.
Carrying your bowie knife with you is more convenient than you might think, but it will necessitate that you plan ahead and prepare for any contingencies that might arise. That said, with a bit of forethought, you can arrive at your destination and have your bowie knife with you at the same time, which is better than many travelers assume.
Dylan Sabot is the owner of an online bowie hunting knives store featuring the Cold Steel training knife. Additionally, Dylan is also the President of an online humidors store.

Camping is a pastime that everyone can enjoy. Even if you have smaller children, you can still take the whole family out for a weekend in the woods. Having the right camping gear is going to be vital. One of the best places to get the gear that you need is going to be online. Here is a great guide that will give you an inside look into what you should look for and how you should buy it.
If you are new to the camping world make sure that you are aware of the weather conditions in your camping location. This will determine the type of camping gear you are going to buy. If you are going to camp in the summer time then you need a lighter sleeping bag with an all-season tent. Getting gear that you can use all season is the best way to get the most out of your money.
When you first get online to look at new gear make sure that you look around at a few different sites. You should also know ahead of time what you are looking for in order to save time as well as money. If you want to stick to the basics then just grab a heavy duty sleeping bag and a durable tent. This is how most people would prefer to camp, without all of those new gadgets.
Having the right budget for your gear is also going to be very important. If you want something specific and you do not have the cash, simply save up until you can get what you need. Make sure that you compare prices as well as the stores that you come across. Look into shipping rates as well.
When you have your price range down and idea of what you might want to look for, you can start looking! Take a look around at various online stores just to get an idea of what you can get. Online auction websites are great for those who want decent gear for a smaller price. Millions of people are selling brand new or slightly used tents and bags for a fraction of the price!
Before you go ahead and buy your gear make sure that you can get a warranty to protect against any damages. The last thing that you want is to get stuck with a tent that does not give you the proper protection or a sleeping bag that does not keep you warm.
Right now is the time to buy brand new camping gear the internet is going to be the best place to get all of your shopping done. Find out which sites are the best and what you can afford today!

You're going to have a great time on your vacation in Cancun! To get ready, you need to evaluate both the time and the money available to you: You can take a four-day cruise or longer, or you can fly to your destination. If you are going with a friend, be certain that you agree on limitations, and then have fun making plans!
Usually a cruise to Cancun will either leave from Galveston or Miami. Usually the ships are going to leave for Cancun in the evening time. Most of the ships that leave from the western area of the U.S. will end up taking you to Mexican Riviera.
Planning on flying? If you book the flight as well as the hotel together you can really save some money. Using a travel agent is okay, but if you do so, ensure that they lay out all that will be included in the cost you are paying for your vacation.
It's a good idea to figure out whether you are going to Cancun Calica or to Cancun Playa del Carmen. Both are great options. Calica will offer great beaches, a wonderful night life, and tours of historic ruins and interesting nature parks. On the other hand, Playa del Carmen is a town on the beach. You can check out tropical forests, enjoy touring some ruins, or even check out the biosphere reserve.
Buy sunscreen! It's hard to avoid the water in Cancun, and it's best to buy waterproof sunscreen.
Before you leave, talk to your cell phone company to find out if there are roaming fees while you are vacationing in Mexico. This will be important knowledge to know if you want to call back to family or your office.
The large part of your money should be put into traveler's checks. Although places are happy to take American dollars, you may want pesos. If you decide to exchange for them, ensure you go to a good bank. Keep the traveler's checks and the theft info on them separate. Ensure that theft protection is on all your credit cards you have with you. Never tear your pesos or take any that are ripped, since the government won't honor them if they are damaged.
Tip your hotel staff and the wait service at restaurants and night clubs at ten to fifteen percent.
If you are going to travel by cab, let them know where you are going and come up with an agreed upon price. You don't have to tip the cab driver.
When you are walking to your destination, never go by yourself. Remember, pedestrians in Mexico are not given the right of way, so be very careful.
Consider talking to the staff at your hotel to find out great places to visit. For great gay nightlife, the Karamba club is one that is excellent to visit.
It doesn't matter how you are planning to get to Cancun, make sure that you check to see if there are restrictions on luggage you need to know about. This may include weight, size, pieces, and charges for extra. It's a good idea to know boarding restrictions too. Planning your trip is important. You'll have a great time doing it and you'll be sure that your trip goes as planned without any problems.
We really know the significance of your presence. You will find the best attendance, fun, entertainment and all your needs in this event. We have structured a perfectly-done plan covering all elements of your attendance's main objective: to enjoy this unforgettable Latin Hot Party experience! Without a doubt these will be your best gay vacations.

Wenzel have been designing and building tents for over 120 years so they really know a thing or two about camping. They offer a range of family dome tents to suit different families and different camping styles.
Their largest 8 person family tent, the Wenzel Grand Lodge, offers over 160 sq.ft. of usable floor space. It's very practical and has a 2 room layout.
Set up is quick and simple for 1 adult without assistance. The walls can be opened to become a complete screen room or zipped closed for privacy and warmth.
The Grand Lodge is definitely one of the best 8 person family tent available.
If you're looking for a 3 room family dome tent then consider the Wenzel Sycamore. The 3 rooms of this tent each have separate doors providing excellent access.
Setting up this tent really need 2 people but one of them can be a child over 4. In the main central room you can stand and each of the rooms is large enough for a full size queen air bed so you can divide your party to suit yourselves.
For a 3 room family tent this gets the best user reviews and highest ratings on all fronts.
For a 6 person family tent the Wenzel Mackinac has a lot to offer.
It has a full height screen room giving a huge and spacious area for bug free living whether you use it for cooking, playing or just chilling out.
To set up this tent takes 2 adults but it's not difficult. the walls of the screen room can be zipped closed for privacy and warmth or left open for full daylight and air flow.
Another choice of 6 person family tent is the Wenzel Cottonwood. This tent also has 2 rooms but no screen room. It is much lighter at just 20 lbs so with a family of teenagers you can split the load between you can go trekking if you like.

The eastern coast of Australia is home to some of the most pristine and gorgeous tracts of land on the planet, graced with spectacular beaches and looming ridges that dazzle visitors to these shores. The most popular-and for good reason-of all the wonderful destinations along Australia's Pacific coast would have to be Gold Coast City and the broader Gold Coast area.
This strip of beautiful shoreline and hinterland is situated in the southeastern corner of the state of Queensland, and happens to be located a relatively quick drive south of the state capital, Brisbane. The city is the biggest city in the country among the non-capital cities, and this is in large part due to the tremendous rate of growth of the tourism sector in the Gold Coast.
One of the most stunning attributes of the Gold Coast is the subtle yet excellent fusion of modern, urban life with pristine natural surroundings, achieved in such a way that few if any other places in the world can claim. The center of town and the most developed area is the narrow stretch of city located right on the waterfront, and there are plenty of high-rise apartment condos and many more features of a modern cityscape; then, there are natural spaces located a little farther inland such as the pristine and biodiverse rainforest and many remote beach areas that are fodder for backpackers, nature lovers, and anybody looking to get back in touch with the great outdoors.
A truly remarkable quality of this area is its winding grid of man-made canals and waterways, which were built as a way to ease development in what was historically a low-lying marshy area. In their totality, these canals stretch out over a distance that is over nine times longer than the world-famous canals of Venice, which is a fair amount of waterways when you think about it. One of the benefits of this feautre has been that lots of properties are located on the waterfront even if they are not right on the beach, and this has helped boost the Gold Coast's allure.
The Gold Coast is ultimately known as one of the best surf destinations in the country, and in the world for that matter. The surf breaks of greatest renown along the Gold Coast's roughly 35 miles of beaches would have to include Kirra, Surfers Paradise, Burleigh Heads, and Palm Beach, among others. Here, the perfect wave is always just about to roll in.
Given the excellent beach conditions and the temptation to take a dip experienced by everybody, there is a professional and extremely competent Shark Control Program carried out by the state government, and it is credited with sparing beachgoers from shark attacks since the late 1950s...an eternity! Under the watchful gaze of these professionals, tourists and locals alike can take a dip without cause for concern.
Some of the most recognizable places in the Gold Coast are the Q1 building, a soaring tower with an observing deck that is only beaten out in height by one other tower (also in Australia) in all of the southern hemisphere, at about 754 feet tall. Then there is the beauty of Lamington Park, which figures on the World Heritage Site list compiled by the United Nations because of the ecological diversity and spectacular natural vistas. Finally, just about evey beach along the entire length of the Gold Coast-it ought to go without saying-is on its own a landmark worthy of recognition.
All in all, the Gold Coast has plenty to offer people of all tastes-a fact that is well attested to by the 10 million visitors that come to this corner of Queensland every year. The fact that a majority of those people are themselves Australian is further proof of the fact that this is one of the most naturally pleasing and rewarding landscapes in the vast and intriguing country/continent of Australia.

The right picnic backpack can transform a long family outing to an enjoyable romp. It can make a huge difference on those romantic outings as well as they leave your arms free for hand-holding. If you know what you are looking for and select according to your current needs, you can find the perfect pack whether you are packing just for yourself or for the entire family.
The first consideration when purchasing a backpack is size. Depending on who will be carrying it most of the time, you may want to select something more compact or a bit larger. Of course, you have to also consider how many items you will be hauling for this occasion before picking the size.
Sizes are generally determined by how many people are going on the picnic. For example, a 2 person backpack is going to be more compact and offer less space for drinks than a 4 person backpack. Don't let the idea of a backpack fool you because some of these can be quite large and bulky.
If you are purchasing this item for a child, then consider purchasing one that was made just for children. They will be lighter weight and have features designed just for younger users. If you will be going on a lot of family outings then you may want to purchase a pack for each of your children so they can each carry their own belongings and lighten the load on you.
You also want to look at the arrangement of compartments and how your stuff will fit inside. There will be spaces for drinks and silverware as well as larger openings to pack in food and other bigger sized items. You want to think about what you will typically be packing and find something that will accommodate your needs.
You want one that has enough room to pack the things you want to carry while still being as compact as possible. The value of a backpack is that it can be easily carried along without hassle, so look around and make sure you get one that can comfortably be carried even when filled completely up.
Your chances of having an enjoyable outing today and many more in the future are increased if you look at functionality more than price. You want something that is durable and that will hold up with consistent use. If you select the right size and style chances are you will enjoy your time on the go much more.

Italy is the country known for its good taste, fine gourmet, romantic places and great Italian cheeses. We are knowledgeable of Mozzarella and Parmesan- two great cheese varieties that only came from Italy. Italy is agreat city to be it is even one of my "must-go to" travel destinations. Apart from all of these there is still one reason why you should love Italy and this: the Italian cheese and wine combo.
At New York, New York there is a festival that will celebrate the wine and cheese of Italy. The festival is entitled: "The Wine & Cheese of Italy: Off the Beaten Path." The festival will feature 8 different kinds of wine and 6 different kinds of cheeses. These varainats will be the examples for the wine and cheese tasting class. The event will feature two respecatble persons on the industry: Dilek Caner and Chris Munsey.
Caner will introduce the fine grape variety of Italy that makes their wine taste so good. Munsey on the other hand will discuss the concept of artisanal cheeses and how they differ to commercially produced cheeses. One interesting class that Munsey likes to talk about in his class is the art of Cheese tasting. Munsey on the other hand will give lectures on the concept of artisanal cheeses and how they differ with commercially produce cheese variations.
Basically you can pair cheese and wine depending on their taste. It is likely that a wine can be paired up with a cheese from the same region that it's made. Also, soft and light cheeses are usually paired with light and white wines. Heavier, darker and nuttier flavor of cheese is great to compare with darker and bolder wines. The general guide is Light to light .
A Cheese clock is a cheese plate that is fun to place together. It is achieved through putting different types of cheeses on a huge plate following a quadrant which houses the 4 types of cheeses. Start your cheese clock from the bottom or the 6 o clock quadrant and work your way up, gradually increasing the boldness and heaviness of the cheese.
